Tams-Witmark Music Library - Young Performers' Edition Musicals.
Tams-Witmark Young Performers’ Editions (YPE) are 60 minute versions of classic musicals developed especially for young actors and are ideal for schools, youth theatre groups, after-school programs and theatre camps. The cast can be easily expanded to accommodate as many performers as you can fit on the stage.
When you order a Tams-Witmark YPE, the author approved materials that you receive make it easier than ever for your school or organization to mount the best possible production and to give your children an exciting and rewarding experience.
The Rehearsal Materials for Young Performers' includes:
- > 20 Young Performer’s Books, each containing the complete script and all vocal material adapted to the musical range of developing voices.
- > 1 Disc Set, consisting of: 1 Sing-Along CD, to help your cast learn the songs. 1 Performance CD, with orchestral accompaniment for your production. 1 Choreography DVD, with simple, effective dance steps and staging for certain songs.
- > 1 Piano-Vocal Score, as an additional rehearsal tool.
- > 1 Production Guide, complete with background material, directorial pointers, and details on how the show’s production can be incorporated into a school curriculum and how to involve your community at large.
