Bed Among the Lentils was first shown on BBC TV on May 3rd, 1988. It was subsequently performed as part of the stage version of Talking Heads, which opened on 7th June, 1996, at the Minerva Theatre, Chichester, transferring to the Comedy Theatre, London.
