Jeremy Desmon is a graduate of Stanford University (BA), NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (MFA), recipient of the 2007 Kleban Award for excellence in Musical Theatre Bookwriting, and is a recent Jonathan Larson Fellow at the Dramatists Guild of America. THE GIRL IN THE FRAME has been seen around the world, including productions in London, Boston, Goodspeed Musicals, the NAMT Festival of New Musicals and in his hometown of Buffalo. In Summer, 2006, Jeremy's contributions were seen off-Broadway in IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE and OTHER STORYBOOKS, a pint-sized adaptation of the children's classic (currently on tour with TheatreworksUSA). I SEE LONDON, I SEE FRANCE: THE UNDERWEAR MUSICAL was given a workshop production at The Hartt School of Music (Fall, 2006) after development by Goodspeed Musicals.Other musicals include IT'S NOT YOU... IT'S ME ("Audience Favorite Award," Seattle Fringe Festival) and Cabin Pressure ("Audience Favorite Award," NYC'S Turnip Theatre Festival). In addition, Jeremy's 20-minute film adaptation of THE GIRL IN THE FRAME was a finalist for an IFP Spotlight Award.Jeremy lives in Manhattan right around the corner from a Starbucks.
