The Young Performers’ Edition of THE WIZARD OF OZ is a one-hour adaptation specifically tailored for primary school and high school aged children. The materials have been prepared to help your schools and youth groups mount the best possible production and to give your children an exciting and rewarding experience.
Casting: 3 female, 4 male
Royalty: Flat fee of only A$180.00 per performance for school and small youth group productions with a seating capacity of up to 300 seats.
Your YPE materials will include:
> Young Performer’s Books, each containing the complete script and all vocal material adapted to the musical range of developing voices.
> 1 Disc Set, consisting of: 1 Sing-Along CD, to help your cast learn the songs. 1 Performance CD, with orchestral accompaniment for your production. 1 Choreography DVD, with simple, effective dance steps and staging for certain songs.
> 1 Piano-Vocal Score, as an additional rehearsal tool.
> 1 Production Guide, complete with background material, directorial pointers, and details on how the show’s production can be incorporated into a school curriculum and how to involve your community at large.
