"Australia has an extraordinary composer in David Reeves"

Full Length Musical. Drama. 1900-1910.
Ethel Turner’s classic tale has been taken to heart by young and old since 1894. It has been turned into film in 1939, a television series in 1973 and a stage musical in 1988. The book has been translated into nine languages and has never been out of publication in over a hundred years.

The original tour ran for 230 performances in the main theatres throughout the eastern states of Australia. The Royal Queensland Theatre Company produced a sell out season in 1991. For many years Seven Little Australians (the musical) was the highest grossing original home grown Australian musical in Australia's theatre history. The original cast recording is the highest grossing album in the genre from sales at theatre venues during its national tour in 1988-89 and beyond.

Full Length Musical. Drama, 17th Century.
In 17th century Paris, at a time of political turbulence, there lived a flamboyant, swashbuckling, gallant hero. The not very attractive Cyrano de Bergerac loves passionately, but silently. The subject of that love was his childhood friend, the beautiful Roxanne, who only had eyes for another, the very elegant but inarticulate Christian de Neuvilette...

"Musicians Rejoice! And... the music gives singers opportunities to flex their dramatic and vocal muscles, to sing high and low without grovelling in the laryngeal nether regions. A children's chorus gets to process a la Sound of Music and bring it all to a celestial finale, Singers Rejoice!"
-- Patricia Kelly, The Australian, October 7 1994

Casting: 7 principal characters. Male and female ensemble. Minor roles.
Royalty Fee: 14% of your gross box office takings or a minimum of *A$180.00 per performance (whichever is the greater).
Rehearsal Backing tracks available soon.
