Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of the most successful and distinguished composers of our time, who has reigned over the musical theatre world for nearly five decades. Winning numerous awards, including multiple Tonys, Oliviers and an Oscar, Andrew Lloyd Webber has enchanted millions worldwide with his music and hit shows.
When Sunset Boulevard joined School Of Rock, Cats and The Phantom Of The Opera on Broadway in 2018, Andrew Lloyd Webber became the only person since 1953 to have four Broadway shows running concurrently. Other musicals he has composed include Aspects Of Love, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita and Love Never Dies.
As a composer and producer, Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of an elite group of artists to have achieved EGOT status by receiving an Emmy, four Grammys including Best Contemporary Classical Composition for Requiem, an Oscar and eight Tony Awards including the 2018 Special Tony for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre. Additionally he has been honoured with seven Oliviers, a Golden Globe, the Praemium Imperiale, the Richard Rodgers Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre, a BASCA Fellowship, and the Kennedy Center Honor.

The CATS Abridged Edition has been developed with junior groups and schools in mind and is available to groups with a performing age of 14 and under. The Abridged Edition backing track is approximately 75 minutes in length and has been developed specifically for younger Jellicles. The CDs provide the flexibility to edit the show to a suitable length for the performance age group and aid the learning and rehearsal process.
The Rehearsal CD includes backing tracks and vocals. The Performance CD features backing tracks only.

Orchestra: 27 Piece - for those without the resources or the space for a 27 piece orchestra, Realtime Music Solutions provide an orchestral enhancement software called Sinfonia. This software offers the flexibility for a smaller ensemble to play alongside the orchestral enhancement software, generating the rich orchestral sounds of a full 27 piece orchestra.
