The traditional Italian story of a wooden puppet yearning to be a real boy springs to life with inventive and awe-inspiring puppetry. 

Carved out of wood by the lonely toymaker Geppetto, Pinocchio tumbles from one disastrous situation to another in search of adventure—only to discover that, in the end, all he really needs is an unselfish heart and the love of his father.

Based on Carlo Collodi's classic tale, this family musical illuminates the bond between parents and children in a magical performance that is sure to enchant audiences of all ages!

  • THE STORYTELLER / FAIRY - A maternal and mysterious woman.
    GEPPETTO - A kindhearted widower.
    PINOCCHIO - A cocky young puppet.
    THE PUPPET MASTER - A down and out showman.
    MARY - A poor excuse for a puppet.
    ANNETTE - Another of the same.
    THE FOX - A business man.
    THE CAT - His dimwitted moll.
    LAMPWICK - An unruly brat.
    THE DRIVER - A sturdy coachwoman.

    (All of the above may double as ensemble members with the exception of The Storyteller/Fairy, Geppetto and Pinocchio.)

    Accompaniment Tracks and Vocal Tracks are available upon booking. Customers can play the tracks on a computer or burn to a CD as needed. Customers will need a person to cue each track (sound person, teacher, etc.). This musical may be performed using a piano only, but using the Performance/Accompaniment Tracks is recommended and ideal. The scripts include new formatting indicating where performance tracks begin. (Some shows have more specific instructions about where music stops, fades, pauses, etc.)

    You may also rent an Orchestra Set for live musicians.
