City Melodies themes concern the fragmented sense of home and the impermanence of life as explored through the experiences of first and second generation immigrants to London.
City Melodies received a staged reading at the Dorfman Theatre, National Theatre, as part of the Alfred Fagon Award ceremony in 2016. Daniel Bailey was the director.
The play also received a staged reading in 2014, as part of Capital Plays Festival at the MAC in Birmingham, in association with StoneCrabs Theatre. Tanja Pagnuco was the dramaturg and director.
