It's a hot summer evening and Julie Rodgers has had a bad day. Her boss made a pass at her that she rejected, so she got a pink slip with her check. Julie's broke and disillusioned, so she drinks and turns on the stereo full blast to make the pain go away. Then her roommate comes home in the midst of an eating frenzy; her boyfriend has gone back to his wife, so Alice has turned to food to forget. Julie suggests another way to vent their man-caused frustrations: they should pick a guy, any guy... and take advantage of him. Men have been doing it for years; why can't a woman try it?

Enter a pizza delivery man who agrees to come in and share a beer with them. The evening gets crazier, wilder, angrier, and very, very funny.

  • Casting: 1M, 2F
  • Casting Attributes: Expandable casting

  • JULIE RODGERS - Late-twenties. Wholesome. The 'girl next door.' She's a woman who's lived on her own for a long time and hasn't been successful at it. She's gone through life as a 'good girl,' a 'nice person,' and it has led nowhere. She's witty, charming, and intelligent. She's a lady who has style. And she's also a woman who's filled with rage.
  • ALICE MEYERLINK - Mid-twenties. Jewish. Constantly battling her weight. Neurotic. This woman doesn't live life... she attacks it. The smallest event in her day can throw her into the deepest depression or the highest of highs. The real moments in life, however, Alice has a tendency to miss.
  • EDDIE (PIZZA MAN) - Late-twenties. Attractive. Cocky. And with a vulnerability he tries to desperately cover up. He likes to think he's macho but on him it really misses. Probably identifies with Burt Reynolds. Eddie is a 'nice guy' and he's been paying a price for it his whole life.
