A sweet-hearted tale of a washed-up knight-of-old, from the grandfather of modern Scottish playwriting.

Stanley Eveling's short play Better Days Better Knights was first performed at the Pool Lunch-Hour Theatre, Hanover Street, Edinburgh, in November 1971. It was revived at the King's Head Theatre, London, in 1976 in a production directed by Max Stafford-Clark.
