A very affecting account of feminine heroism. It is taut with suspense and doubt, and gives some supreme characterizations of women acting under stress during the terrible Mexican Revolution. It is the picture of seven women outlaws, together with their captive, most of whom have seen their sons and husbands tortured to death before their eyes.

Concha, the leader, is convinced that someone is signalling to the Federal troops, but is it the captive, or the girl who loves him, or the flirt? As the ring draws tighter around them, she devises a means of exposing the traitor, stopping the enemy, and safeguarding the precious storage of ammunition. It is a bold and gripping plan, rousingly effective.
