The sequel to the international hit musical Nunsense! The same five nuns are back on stage at Mt. Saint Helen's School for what is billed as a "Thank You Program" for their supporters. Since their first time out was such a success, they have decided that they should stick to their successful variety show formula. This time they are forced to work around the set dressing of "The Mikado" which is being presented the following week by the Hoboken Music Society on the Mt. Saint Helen's stage.

In Nunsense, when a wacky nun known as Sister Mary Amnesia regained her memory she recalled that she always wanted to be a country singer. In Nunsense II her dream became one step closer to reality when Reverend Mother landed a recording contract for her. In Nunsense Jamboree, her dream has been realized as she headlines a brand new show promoting her debut album, "I Could've Gone to Nashville."

Nuncrackers! The Nunsense Christmas Musical is over and the Kunkels (the poor family that lives behind Mount St. Helen's School) have won the lottery. In appreciation, the Kunkels have given the Sisters an all-expenses-paid trip on the "Faiths of all Nations" Cruise. After a week at sea the ship runs into a storm and several people become ill, including all the entertainers: the cast of Fiddler on the Roof. All except the actor playing Tevye, that is. The captain of the ship, knowing the Sisters' show biz savvy, requests that the Sisters and Tevye put on a revue. The result: Messuggah-Nuns! The Ecumenical Nunsense.

When a parishioner volunteers to donate $10,000 to the Sisters' school if they will perform in a club in Las Vegas, Mother Superior is hesitant to accept. However, after being convinced by the other Sisters that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" Reverend Mother agrees. What follows in the most feather-filled, sequin-studded, fan dancing Nunsense show ever!

The Little Sisters of Hoboken have been invited to sing at the famed Hollywood Bowl. They are thrilled at the prospect until they arrive and realize that they were instead booked to perform at the Hollywood Bowl-A-Rama, a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge. When they hear that auditions are being held for a movie musical, "Nunset Boulevard," they recognize that landing a part in it would be natural, although this also forces them to contemplate their true calling.

Nunsense A-Men! is basically the original Nunsense show with all of the characters being portrayed by male musical comedy performers. Think of it as "Mrs. Doubtfire enters the Convent."
