St. Francis returns to us to stage the first Christmas pageant. When he learns that the shepherds don't know the story of Bethlehem and that the lord of the Manor has forgotten its significance, Francis realizes he must do something to make everyone around him experience those events. What better way than by reliving them?

And that's exactly what happens here for today's audiences as well, as they take active roles in this play-within-a-play. Under the direction of St. Francis, everyone comes together to experience why the tradition he started so long ago has become a lasting part of our holiday celebrations.
