  • VILLAIN - Phineas P. Grouch or The Grouch. Typical villain out for revenge, except he has a broken heart.
HERO - Richard Charmsalot. A hero with a lot of love, for himself. He gets his own way by charming people with his voice. Has commitment issues.
HEROINE - Cindy BooHoo. A lovable girl with a heart of gold. She cries at the drop of a hat.
VAMP - Maxine De Maracas. A CHARO-like vamp. (Also needs to play Mitzi Showsem in the first scene).
MINNIE MAESTRO - The matriarch of the town who lives for the choir. (When she enters have the audience sing -- ala "Deck the Halls" -- Fala-la-la-la-la-la-la-la.)
NARRATOR - Ethel Ann. A little girl obviously played by a man. It's as if he lost a bet and had to be the narrator. He really wants to be in the show. He is underdressed as a local celebrity, or a regular celebrity that he can imitate.
